The new palliativedrugs.com website launched! Now contains PCF4!

We have worked hard to update the website which now includes the UK Palliative Care Formulary 4th edition (PCF4) content in the Formulary section. Until the end of January 2012, access to the PCF4 content is free, but subsequently a subscription fee will be charged. The German version remains free to access, due to funding from the German Cancer Aid. We will also provide free on-line access to members working in a country on the HINARI A or B lists.

We are proud of the fact that we have provided 20,000 health professionals with free on-line access to the formulary for 11 years. However, since the website became available and as the membership grew, sales of subsequent editions of the book version have progressively decreased. As book sales are our main source of income, providing free access on-line is no longer sustainable. With increased income, not only will the Formulary survive, it will also be possible to update its content several times a year, so that the on-line version will provide the most current content.

There are both individual and corporate subscriptions, the latter with significant discount for multiple users. A combination package for individual subscribers is also available. For full details see the Store section.

All of the remaining sections of the website, including the Bulletin board, Document library, News and SDSD will remain free access.

PLEASE NOTE: As part of upgrading the website, we have also updated all our Terms and Conditions associated with its use. The first time you log on to the new website you will be asked to confirm that all of your registration details are complete and correct; please provide or update the information required. You will then be asked to read and accept our new Terms and Conditions of Use. Once you have accepted them, you can access the website.
